Solo therapy allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. However, distress is not the only reason to participate in individual therapy.  Individual therapy provides a personal check-in, keeping you aligned with your life goals and ambitions. We work with individuals on specific challenges such as sexual dysfunction and pain, and we also offer more extended individual therapy to work through anxiety, depression, and other challenges.  Although at times therapy can be unpredictable with ever-changing challenges, individual therapy can be as short as 3-6 sessions, depending on your goals. Some clients choose to pursue longer-term therapy based on the complexity of their challenges or their desired results. We work collaboratively with you to determine your therapeutic goals to ensure we are always on the same page as to what to expect and what you would like to achieve.

Coming Soon!  Groups for partners or family members whose loved ones are suffering from postpartum. If interested in information please inquire.

Groups act as a network for support and sounding boards. Meeting other group members can expand your perception of how you view your challenges in addition to helping you come up with specific ideas for improving a difficult situation or life challenge. Regularly talking and listening to others also helps you put your own problems in perspective and you may feel inspired by the ability to impact others through sharing your challenges.

Couples therapy helps partners gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict, and improve relationship satisfaction using various therapeutic techniques and interventions.  We take a systemic approach with couples.  It is important to consider yourself, your partner(s), and the relationship itself when working in therapy.  Relationships are multi-dimensional.  Couples work promotes integrating each person's perspective in order to build relational intimacy. This demands vulnerability from all but it creates the dynamic space needed to launch the trajectory of your relationship into a more harmonious, fulfilling experience. Couples therapy is not easy, and at times it can even feel defeating and scary. Partners who work through their challenges in therapy can find the ultimate newfound reward of peace of mind, strength, and intimacy.  No version of therapy can provide promises, however, we do promise we will work with you to find clarity in the relationship and help you define how you and your partner(s) can move forward in a healthy way.

Therapists welcome clients in most partnered lifestyles including polyamory, open relationship, swinging, and kink. Feel free to speak with your therapist openly to explore whether we are the best fit for you or if we are able to assist you in finding someone else who might be!

Sexual behavior and pleasure are essential parts of overall wellness. Sex therapy celebrates diversity in sexual orientation. Sex therapy can also widen the range of pleasure within yourself or your relationships, empower your personal sexual expression, and assists with overcoming sexual difficulties. Finally, sex therapy, (sometimes combined with collaborated trauma therapy), can allow one to regain trust and rediscover pleasure after experiencing negative sexual beliefs, experiences, and trauma.
